4 Foods To Consume Less this Season

Yes, the end of the year is around the corner and the Christmas and new year makes the season, a time of celebrations accompanied by lots of foods and drinks. So many free foods and drinks, you must however be health conscious particularly with respect to what you eat. While the mood of the season lasts, here are five foods to consume less this season:


1. Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils. Most of these oils targed as heart friendly are actually the cause of most health problems we are facing. They deplet our digestive enzymes reserves and suppress our immune system


2. Boillion Cubes: These come in various brand names depending on the producing company, their, ingredients are however the same, we tag them 'silent killers'

3. Canned drinks: Loaded with sugar, which are immune suppressors if consumed in excess, additionally, the contain various preservatives and sometimes colourings that harm our health.


4. White Rice: It sounds funny to ask you or the children to beware of white rice this, yes, rice is high in the glycemic index and may definitely not be your best friend in terms of blood sugar
