8 Most Important Things To Do When Pain Strikes

Yes, many of us have experienced pain at one time or the other, what are the causes of pain(s).  Obviously pains are the results of inflammations,  and inflammations are the bodies way of telling us that something is wrong, we feel pain when there is an inflammation, or poor supply of oxygen or blood to a particular part of the body.  There are other reasons why pain(s) occur which could  be diagnosed.    What are we supposed to do at the onset of pain, irrespective of the cause.

1. The first thing I do is to identify the inflammatory foods in my diet and begin to eliminate them gradually. Check the inflammatory food list in my previous posts.

2.  The next thing is to eliminate caffeine at least temporarily completely.

3. I also reduce my calorie intake. Much calorie also tend to suppress my immune system.
4.  The next important thing I do  is to reduce stress.  The stress includes mental and physical stress.  You can check my post on foods that reduce stress, for more.

5.  The fifth thing is to reduce saturated fats from animal source and replace them with low calorie nutrient dense foods like Moringa leaf powder and some low sodium foods. Check my posts also on Health benefits of moringa leaf powder.

6.  The fifth is to apply regular massage using natural shea butter mixed coconut oil  at the point of the pain if it is external.

7.  Observe the Water Therapy more religiously.

8. INCLUDE THESE FOODS TO SHORTEN THE DURATION OF THE PAIN

  • Turmeric
  • Pineapple
  • Flax-seed
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Walnut
  • Ginger
  • Cherries
  • Fish Oil
  • Cinnamon and
  • Olive oil
All the above foods, possess anti inflammatory properties to help the help the body fight pain, and reduce further swellings.  If your pain persist, You should see your doctor for full investigation on other possible cause or causes of the pain.
