Life Quotes
It is important to always remind ourselves of the need for our freedom. In which ever form you desire it, in which ever way, it comes. There is the necessary ingredient preceding freedom. There is usually a fight, there must a time of struggle, there must be battles and wars, for without these, how can the freedom be sweet? For one maxim says " That which is lightly got is little valued." You may not value your freedom if there were no price paid. As for me, No matter the price, Freedom is better than slavery, regardless of the bitter delicacies accompanying false freedom. I like the words of Frederick Douglass concerning the subject. Are you prepared for Freedom and the price?
"Who would be free themselves must strike the blow. Better even to die free than to live slaves". Frederick Douglass

The Food Supplement that Ruined My Liver - Testimony
I am not a fan of supplements. I take occasional green which I know is rich in antioxidants. I take it as infusion in hot water. It does me plenty of good. However if you like swallowing supplements whether green tea or whatever. Then read this testimony. The Liver is the organ that suffers most each we bring in unwanted materials into our system.
Jim McCants took green tea capsules in a drive to get healthy in middle age. His doctors now say they left him needing an urgent liver transplant, writes the BBC's Tristan Quinn.
It should have been one of the happiest days of his life. But Jim McCants looks back on his youngest son's high school graduation with mixed emotions. As he sat down next to his wife Cathleen in the university auditorium, just outside Dallas, Texas, she turned to look at him.
"She said 'Do you feel OK?'" Jim recalls. "I said, 'Yeah I feel fine, why?' 'Your face is yellow, your eyes are yellow, you look terrible.' When I looked in the mirror it was shocking."
It was shocking partly because Jim, then 50, had been working on improving his lifestyle and losing weight, focusing on eating more healthily and taking regular exercise.
"My dad had a heart attack at aged 59 and he did not make it," says Jim. "There's a lot that he missed out on with us and I was determined to do what I can to take care of myself as best I can, so that I don't miss out."
But soon after his son's graduation, Jim was admitted to hospital with a suspected liver injury.
Trying to identify the cause of Jim's liver injury, those treating him ruled out alcohol.
"For the last 30 years I drank maybe a six-pack of beer a year, no wine. So alcohol was not a big part of my life," Jim says.
They also ruled out prescription drugs - he wasn't taking any at the time - and smoking, something he had never done.
"Then my hepatologist drilled in to, 'What about any over-the-counter supplements?'" says Jim.
As part of his mid-life health kick, Jim had started taking a green tea supplement because he had heard it might have cardiac benefits. These supplements have grown in popularity in recent years, often breathlessly promoted online for their antioxidant benefits, and their supposed ability to aid weight loss and prevent cancer.
"I felt fine then," remembers Jim, who lives in Prosper, north of Dallas. "I was walking or running 30-to-60 minutes, five or six days a week." He was working as a finance manager but hoped to retrain as a physician's assistant. "I was taking two or three classes at a time at nights and at weekends," he recalls.
He had taking the green tea supplement for two to three months when he became ill. According to Jim's medical record this is the presumed cause of his liver injury. "It was shocking because I'd only heard about the benefits," remembers Jim. "I'd not heard about any problems."
After his admission to hospital, Jim went into a "holding pattern", waiting for the results of a series of blood tests to establish the seriousness of his liver injury. Then, about three weeks after his wife had first noticed he looked ill, one of his liver doctors delivered the news he had been fearing: "She said you need a liver transplant. This has to happen fast. You have days - you don't have a week."
Jim was stunned.
"I was thinking this looks very bleak for me. It really crystallises what's important in life. I wasn't there thinking about projects at work. I was thinking of different people that were important to me for different reasons."
What is it about green tea supplements that might cause harm at certain doses to some people? Scientists do not know for certain. Because green tea has been drunk for thousands of years, supplements consisting of its concentrated form are regulated in the US and Europe as foods, not medicines. That means that specific safety testing has not been required, so the scientific picture of how green tea supplements might affect our health is incomplete.
"If you are drinking modest amounts of green tea you're very safe," says Prof Herbert Bonkovsky, director of liver services at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina, who has been tracking injuries linked to green tea supplements for nearly 20 years. "The greater risk comes in people who are taking these more concentrated extracts."
Concern has focused on a potentially toxic ingredient called Epigallocatechin-3-gallate or EGCG, the most abundant of the naturally occurring compounds with antioxidant properties in green tea, called catechins. There are likely to be a number of factors that might make an individual susceptible to harm from EGCG including genetics, and the way supplements are used.
"Usually people are taking these green tea extracts trying to lose weight, so they're often not eating," Dr Bonkovsky explains. "We know from animal studies that fasted animals absorb a much higher percentage of the catechins than do fat animals. There may well be other factors of other drugs, other chemicals, use of alcohol that are also important as modifying factors."
Antioxidants
Antioxidants are a group of vitamins and other compounds that for many have taken on miraculous properties, helping to drive the global market for supplements of all kinds, now worth more than £100bn per year.
Antioxidants ward off "free radicals", molecules produced in our cells as they turn oxygen and food into energy. Just as oxygen and water corrode iron, too many free radicals can damage our cells.
In the 1950s, Prof Denham Harman theorised that free radicals drove the process by which the body ages and could lead to disease.
But some scientists now believe that free radicals at certain levels may be beneficial for human health, and argue that the orthodox view of the last half century that antioxidants are an unalloyed good is outdated.
While millions of people take green tea supplements safely, at least 80 cases of liver injury linked to green tea supplements have been reported around the world, ranging from lassitude and jaundice to cases requiring liver transplants. Those harmed after taking green tea pills have included teenagers, like 17-year-old Madeline Papineau from Ontario, Canada who developed liver and kidney injury, and an 81-year-old woman diagnosed with toxic acute hepatitis.
A recent investigation by the European Food Safety Authority into the safety of green tea concluded that catechins from green tea drinks are "generally safe", but when taken as supplements catechin doses at or above 800mg per day "may pose health concerns". The EFSA could not identify a safe dose on the basis of available data and called for more research to be carried out.
The day after Jim was told he needed a liver transplant, amazingly he was told a suitable liver had been found. "I was elated. The phone call that there was a match gave me hope that there would be something positive on the other side of this for me," he says.
The liver transplant saved Jim's life. But four years later he still has serious health problems including kidney disease that may require dialysis and a transplant in the future. He sees his liver and kidney doctors twice a year, and lives with chronic abdominal pain.
"My life before was pretty active. And now it's much more sedentary and I struggle with fatigue," he says.
It's a "tremendous blessing", as he puts it, that his managers allow him to work from home. "I may need a lie down for 20 or 30 minutes during the day. I'm able to just let my manager know I'm going offline, I'll be back."
Jim is pursuing a lawsuit against the American firm Vitacost, which sold the green tea supplement he took. "I'm hoping that they make the decision to put a very strong warning label on the product, on the website, let people know before they buy it," he says.
Vitacost did not want to comment on the legal case, but said: "We take the safety of our Vitacost brand supplements very seriously and stand behind the quality of our products."
Four years on, Jim reflects on how his life and that of his family changed after he took a green tea supplement
"I didn't expect harm. I expected that I might waste my money, I may take these and they don't do a bit of good. I can accept that risk," he says. "But the risk that it could cause my liver to fail, that's a risk that's too high for somebody to take."

11 Health Benefits of Argan Essential Oil
Argan oil is one essential oil, I have recently introduced to my beauty products due to the abundance of Vitamin E in the oil. My carrier oil is cold pressed coconut oil.
What is keeping me with this oil lately is the fact that it is gentle on the skin probably due to the presence of vitamin E and other healthy fatty acids that benefits health.
Argan oil is nutrient-dense. It’s filled with powerful antioxidants, essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Argan oil is said to contain 3 times as much Vitamin E than any other oil!
Some of its nutrients include:
Carotenes
Linoleic acid
Linolenic acid
Oleic acid
Palmitic acid
Stearic acid
Vitamin E even more.
Ten Health Benefits of Argan Essential Oil
1. Moisturizes skin
Argan oil is perhaps most commonly used as a moisturizer. This is why it is often found in lotions, soaps, and hair conditioners. It can be applied topically or ingested orally with daily supplements for a moisturizing effect. This is largely thanks to its abundance of vitamin E , which is a fat-soluble antioxidant that can help improve water retention in
Reduces skin’s oiliness
Some of us have naturally oiler skin than others. Those who do often go out of their way to get rid of the oily sheen that can occur. argan possesses oil’s sebum-reducing capabilities, it can help decrease total sebum and reduce oiliness of the skin.
2. Anti-Aging
Another effect in using this oil is its anti aging effect. It feels even so smooth massaging this oil on your face or skin.
Not only does argan oil act as an effective moisturiser, it can also give skin a youthful glow and reduce the visibility of wrinkles. Its anti-oxidant effect makes argan oil the ideal anti-aging product. It restores elasticity and leaves skin feeling plumper and softer.
The best way to apply argan oil for the most prominent anti-aging effects is to massage a few drops into your face and neck before bed. It acts as a moisturiser and anti-ager all in one.
3. Improves Skin Appearance
Even if you don’t you have skin problems like acne, eczema, wrinkles or scarring, you can take advantage of Argan oil to improve your skin’s appearance, making it soft and supple. The saponins in Argan oil help to reactivate the skin cells’ ability to regenerate, keeping your largest and most important bodily organ healthy and strong.
4. Lowers Cholesterol
Culinary-grade Argan oil , when used as a substitute for other less-healthy oils in the diet can help to lower bad cholesterol levels. The unique combination of plant sterols found in the oil – schottenol and spinasterol – actually block the absorption of bad cholesterol from inside the intestinal tract.
Argan oil is also one of the richest sources of omega 3 fatty acids and plant sterols that regulate cholesterol. While these healthy fatty acids can be found in both plant and fish oils, research has shown that essential fatty acids from plants are twice as effective as from fish oils.
5. Relieving Arthritis and Rheumatism
The oil is considered highly beneficial for arthritic or rheumatic conditions. Flavonoids present in Argan oil have powerful anti-inflammatory properties which can be used to treat both external and internal problems, including relieving the pain and swelling of arthritis. Argan oil contains a high level of triterpenoids , in particularly butyrospermol, which are important, biologically active compounds that well known for their anti-inflammatory benefits. Its high linoleic acid content increases the production of prostaglandins 1, which are known to help rheumatologic conditions too.
For relief from sore muscles and joints, massage a few drops of pure Argan oil into your skin over the affected area.
6. Aids Digestion
Culinary grade Argan oil contains organic compounds that when added to food increases pepsin concentration in the body’s gastric juices, thus improving digestion. Pepsin is an important enzyme in gastric juice that digests proteins found in meat, eggs and dairy products. Better digestion means more energy, less hunger, improved weight loss, and an all around healthier body.
7. Fighting Cancer
There have been many studies regarding the ability of Argan oil to fight cancer and other diseases. The high levels of antioxidants in the oil help protect skin from free radicals which can lead to skin cancer . There have also been studies on the healing power of Argan oil against colon and bladder cancers, prostate cancer, as well as cancerous growths throughout the body which may result from infection or inflammation.
8. Prevents Stretch Marks
The healing power of Argan oil on the skin doesn’t stop with aging and cancer treatments. This miracle oil can also be used to prevent stretch marks from pregnancy, pubescent growth of hips and mammaries, or from rapid weight gain by softening and strengthening skin. It works by helping to improve the elasticity of the skin and keeping it hydrated, which makes stretch marks less likely to form. Apply it by warming a few drops in the palm of your hands and gently rubbing it onto areas like the hips, thighs, and stomach where they’re likely to develop.
9. Repairs Split Ends
When applied to hair , Argan oil prevents drying and environmental damage by coating the hair shaft. The oil seals in moisture and smooths flyaways, making hair more manageable and less prone to breakage from brushing and styling. Argan oil can also help to seal in colorants such as henna and amla, increasing the length of time between colorings. Rich in Vitamin-E, Argan oil nourishes hair, repairing split ends, and increases hair’s shine and overall healthy appearance.
10. Strengthens Nails
When applied to the fingernails and toenails, Argan oil helps to promote stronger, healthier nails naturally, thanks to its high levels of vitamin-E. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities of Argan oil may also help to fight off nail and skin infections associated with poor nail health.
11. Lip Moisturiser
Especially in cold or dry weather, lips can easily become sore, dry and cracked. Argan oil is the ideal product to ensure lips stay plump, soft and supple. Rub a drop or two into dry lips as a balm – but be sure to wipe off any excess
In summary, this oil an oil that you will need to try. It has numerous other health benefits both. Good enough it is great for for internal and external usage however, I am only using it yet on my face and skin mixed with coconut oil.

Mediterranean Diet and Stroke in Women
Mediterranean diet have been explored extensively over the past few years, with some claiming that following the diet can reduce a person’s risk of developing heart disease.
However, the contrasting ways in which the diet can affect the overall wellbeing of men and women haven’t been investigated in as close detail, until now.
A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of East Anglia has found that women who follow a diet that consists predominantly of Mediterranean-style foods are less likely than men who follow the same diet to experience a stroke later on in life.
Ailsa Welch, one of the authors of the study, explains that in order for women to decrease their chances of having a stroke by following the Mediterranean diet, they must follow the diet faithfully as opposed to simply eating various components of the diet separately.
So, what kind of foods should women be eating in order to lower their risk of experiencing a stroke?
It comprises of a variety of fruits and vegetables, a lot of fish, a moderate amount of dairy products and a low amount of meat sourced from animals other than fish.
The specific foods that make up a Mediterranean diet can vary according to different cultures and ethnicities.
Victoria Taylor, senior dietitian at the
British Heart Foundation, provides a comprehensive insight into the Mediterranean diet and the emphasis that it places on the consumption of healthy fats.
“A typical Mediterranean diet includes lots of vegetables, fruits, beans, cereals and cereal products, for example wholegrain bread, pasta and brown rice,” she tells BBC Good Food .
“It also contains moderate amounts of fish, white meat and some dairy produce.
Beware! Human Flesh in Chinese Drugs
Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) has confirmed the receipt of a letter sent on Chinese Drugs reported to be made from human flesh.
The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) earlier alerted the SON, National Agency for Food Drugs and Administration Control (NAFDAC), Nigerian Customs Service on a Chinese drugs made with human Flesh
The Technical Assistant/Head, Public Relations of the organisation, Mr Bola Fashina, explained that his organisation is on the lookout for the products even though he explained it is the primary responsibilities of both NAFDAC and Customs Service.
Investigations revealed that the capsules were filled with powdered flesh from dead babies.
They were made in North Eastern China from babies whose bodies were chopped into small pieces and dried on stoves before being turned into powder.
Thousands of the drugs were first confiscated in South Korea in 2012.
However, according to NIA, “the South Korean Customs Service, on 30th September 2018 revealed that it has seized 2,751 Chinese drugs/capsules, containing human remains from foetus, infants and flesh imported into the country by some Chinese nationals.
“The manufacturers claims that the drugs/capsules can boost stamina, cure cancer, diabetes and some other terminal diseases.
“The capsules were smuggled in suitcases and through international mail.”
The agency revealed that South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety indicated that 18.7 billion viruses, including hepatitis B virus were found the capsules.
It stressed that the making of the human remain drugs and consuming them are crimes against humanity, which can also lead to serious health challenges.
NIA explained that it was monitoring the situation for detailed information.
“However, it is important for all relevant health regulatory agencies in Nigeria especially the Federal Ministry of Health, NAFDAC, NDLEA and SON to sensitize Nigerians of this development and warn them of the inherent dangers of patronizing drugs imported from China
“The Customs Service, NIPOST and other mail delivery services should also step up monitoring of cargoes and packages with drugs imported into Nigeria.”
In 2011, Chinese officials launched investigations into the production of drugs made from dead fetuses.
The capsules were disguised as stamina boosters and some people believe them to be a panacea for disease.

Nutrients That Supports Your Old Age
What are the nutrition needs of older adults?
Our body composition begins to change around age 50, with a slow, progressive loss of muscle mass and an increase in fat mass (6). And because our resting metabolic rate (or energy requirement) is largely influenced by muscle mass, these physical changes translate into a reduced calorie need. However, this change in metabolism is not as significant as many people assume; from age 30-80 years. These physical changes highlight the importance of strength-building activities in seniors, which preserve both muscle integrity (as well as metabolism) and bone health. Here are the Vitamin, Minerals and nutrients that matter most as we age:
Vitamins, Minerals & Nutrients
Protein
Protein needs among older adults are hotly debated, with many suggesting that a higher requirement is needed given that muscle’s response to protein is less efficient in older age (6). Presently, there is no separate recommendation for protein among older adults (i.e. requirements for all adults are 0.8 g per kg per day; 7), although many experts (including me) recommend a slightly higher intake of 1-1.2 g per kg per day with a focus on meeting essential amino acid requirements (6).
Fluid
The ability to detect thirst decreases with age and dehydration is a common issue in older adults (which can have a negative effect on kidney health and skin integrity;. The World Health Organization recommends 30 mL of water per kg (2.2 lbs) of body weight, with a greater volume being needed for those with malnutrition.
Omega 3
As we age, our ability to fight oxidative damage declines. Consequently, it’s important to include foods with anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. One such nutrient is omega 3, or more specifically, DHA and EPA, which are found in algae and animals consuming algae (6). Including these fats, either through supplementation or the ingestion of fatty fish/algae, may protect against cognitive decline, the progression of cardiovascular disease, and arthritis.
Fibre
Most people are not eating enough fibre. According to data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2009-2010, the average fibre intake for men and women aged 60+ was 18 and 15 grams per day, respectively (8). This intake is far below minimum requirements set by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) of 30 grams per day for men and 21 grams per day for women aged 50 years and older (8). Not only can lower fibre intake lead to constipation (especially when combined with a low fluid intake and a lack of physical activity), it may have a role in the development of diverticular disease, heart disease, and diabetes (6). The best sources of dietary fibre include: pulses, whole grains, fruit, vegetables, as well as nuts and seeds.
Calcium
As we age, bone health can be compromised since we begin to lose density (occurring in both females and males) and the absorption of calcium declines (5). The IOM recommends a calcium intake of 1200 mg per day for women over 50 and men over 70 (10). Unless prescribed by a physician, it is best to meet calcium needs through food, rather than supplements.
Vitamin D
Most people associate vitamin D – the sunshine vitamin – with bone health. While it’s true that vitamin D is essential for the development and maintenance of strong bones, its role in health goes far beyond bones. Results of epidemiological studies suggest that vitamin D deficiency may play a role in the development of autoimmune disease, heart disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes, and infectious diseases (11). The IOM recommends a vitamin D intake of 600 IU for adults aged 50+ and 800 IU for those over 70 years (12). However, this level of intake may not be enough to achieve an optimal vitamin D status (50 nmol/L) and a higher dose of 2000 IU may be necessary (11). Because there are so few food sources of vitamin D, and the production of vitamin D from UV exposure is extremely variable, vitamin D needs should be met through supplementation.
B12
Deficiency of B12 is common among older adults due to decreased stomach acid production (which is needed to absorb vitamin B12), the presence of atrophic gastritis, use of certain medications (antacids, metformin), and pernicious anemia (5). As such, regular monitoring for vitamin B12 deficiency is important in this population. Routine supplementation of vitamin B12 is recommend for anyone following a vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, or semi-vegetarian diet.
Zinc
Zinc plays an important role in wound healing, immunity, appetite regulation, and the prevention of macular degeneration (5). Individuals are advised to meet requirements of this nutrient through food, rather than supplements, since supplementation can interfere with the absorption and regulation of other minerals.
It is best to start your day with plenty of clean on empty stomach, followed by moderate exercise will help improve your overall health.

Quotes. Truly Nothing is improved by Anger
I strongly agree with the Prince of Preachers that nothing is improved by anger, our decision making ability, our appearance, our influence and even favour from people. Have you noticed how ugly we suddenly look, the moment we are angery?, Anger truly is an ugly fit. I will rather weep than be angry. Oh God destroy the root of anger in me for it does nothing in my favour. Anger is unhealthy and destructive to our wellbeing. Hear the words of Charles Spurgeon regarding anger.

Life Quotes. Happiness Not from Wealth and Splendor. It is neither wealth nor splendor but tranquility and occupation which gives you happiness. Are you truly happy. Many are rich in the world goods, but have not inner joy and fulfilment which comes when you touch lives also. I really love Thomas Jefferson's thought in this memorable quote
See The Only Canned Food In My Kitchen
As for me, all canned foods, bottled drinks are banned except this one. What is special about this food. Why is it allowed?
If you follow us, you will realize that we advocate passionately that if you want to regain and retain your health, you must embrace whole foods and say No to highly processed foods.
It may appear difficult and sometimes unattainable to avoid processed foods 100%. It is advised that if you are health conscious, if you are battling any ailment and must conquer, you must choose at least 80% natural foods.
As a matter of fact I avoid all canned tomatoes, drinks, juices including those in beautiful satchets. Why?
1. They are inflammatory
2. They are immune suppressors
3. High in preservatives, colouring and other unhealthy substances that suppress our immune system.
There is however one common canned food I have retained in my kitchen and that is canned sardine. Why is this and exception and how do I consume it.
1. It is a source of quality protein and easily absorbed too.
One challenge facing us today is how to get sufficient protein to our diet. This is one Smart Way to include more protein into our diet. Protein is needed daily for building and repair of dead cells. They keep us fuller for longer thereby avoiding obesity. They also help reduce or prevent spike in blood sugar.
2. It contains iron
It is not just iron but such that our body can access. Quality iron.
We need daily iron for various body function 's including proper circulation.
3. It contains calcium
Calcium is needed for bones heart and is an important electrolyte.
These sardines comes Inn various source depending on the country or company. Most are in Vegetable oils, some in tomatoes and some in olive Oils. I prefer the canned ones in olive oil.
Where those in olive oil are not available, I create my healthy version out of the canned sardine.
Method:
The canned fish is opened and the vegetable oil the accompanied it are gently sieves away and redressed with olive oil and garlic, and cabbage. Apply a little heat and my protein rich breakfast is ready. I like adding one boiled egg. With this I am good to go for the whole day.
No issues with blood sugar
No hunger pang
No unnecessary snacking
I usually choose a few pieces of baked sweet potatoes to go with it and a cup of coffee, honey and low fat milk
It is source of iron easily absorbed too.
Six Essential Oils For Constipation
Constipation affects everyone, men, women, young children and adult, However it appears more resistant in women probably due to hormones and children at the tender stage due to inactivity. Whichever, it is usually disturbing and uncomforting. Essential oil is fast becoming an alternative remedy for many ailments today ranging from arthritis, headaches and constipation. If you have tried to relieve your constipation to no avail. Try essential oils.
Here are Six Essential Oils to relieve constipation.
1. Peppermint Essential Oil
This oil possesses antispasmodic properties, which can relax the muscles in the digestive tract, making the bowels looser. This can help relieve constipation. One 2008 study was able to back this up, finding that
peppermint oil successfully helped relieve constipation in some people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) . and reduce nausea, and it can also help treat constipation. It has digestive stimulatory effects that can increase gastric motility, preventing and treating constipation.
Combine 2 drops of peppermint essential oil with 1 teaspoon of warmed carrier oil, like coconut or grapeseed oil. Massage it directly onto the abdomen and inhale the aroma. The massage will increase movement of the bowel, and the inhalation will help relax those muscles
Do this two to three times a day until your constipation is relieved. Studies have demonstrated that inhaling oils can be as effective as applying them directly to the skin.
2. Ginger Essential Oil
To relieve constipation with ginger oil, mix 3 to 5 drops of ginger oil with 1 ounce of carrier oil like coconut oil or grapeseed oil. Massage the mixture onto the abdomen. Do this two to three times a day as needed.
Fennel seed is a powerful digestive stimulant that can act as a laxative when ingested, effectively treating constipation quickly.
3. Fennel Oil
Fennel essential oil is most effective as a digestive stimulant when mixed with a small amount of carrier oil and massaged onto the abdomen. Do this two to three times a day as needed.
Combine 2 drops of peppermint essential oil with 1 teaspoon of warmed carrier oil, like coconut or grapeseed oil. Massage it directly onto the abdomen and inhale the aroma. The massage will increase movement of the bowel, and the inhalation will help relax those muscles. Do this two to three times a day until your constipation is relieved. Studies have demonstrated that inhaling oils can be as effective as applying them directly to the skin.
4. Rosemary Essential Oil
Rosemary essential oil has a spasmolytic effect , meaning that it relaxes muscles and suppresses muscle spasms. Like peppermint oil, this can jump-start the digestive system and get things moving as needed.
Inhaling rosemary oil can have all the desired effects that you’d need, though some people also use it as a massage oil for aromatherapy benefits. You can mix the oil into a massage lotion, or you can add a few drops to an air diffuser to get the full benefits.
5. Lemon Oil
Lemon essential oil is highly concentrated and contains a number of strong antioxidants that can improve digestion and simultaneously reduce inflammation. Both factors can allow the digestion process to run more smoothly and eliminate constipation. One study even found that using oils like lemon oil in aromatherapy massages improved digestion.
Mix lemon oil into a carrier oil, and massage it into the skin. You can also put lemon oil in an air diffuser and inhale the scent of the oil to achieve the desired results. Avoid exposure to sunlight when applying lemon essential oil.
6. Olive Oil
Cold pressed olive oil is another popular oil that works perfectly for constipation. It is best ingested in empty stomach. This oil has worked perfected for me in relieving stubborn constipation. A teaspoon on empty stomach does the job for me.
Most essential oils aren’t meant to be taken orally, because some are toxic. The effect of aromatherapy is experienced when inhaling the oils and massaging the diluted oils into the skin. Essential oils are generally very safe for the majority of the population to use.
The exception is essential oils that have menthol, like peppermint or spearmint oils. These are safe for adults to use, but can be dangerous for young children and infants to breathe in.
Pregnant and nursing women should also avoid essential oils as there’s not enough research to ensure they’re all safe.
The biggest risk for using essential oils is irritation or allergic reactions. Essential oils that are put on the skin may irritate those with sensitive skin.
To prevent this, never apply essential oil directly to the skin. You should always mix a few drops of an essential oil with a carrier oil of your choice — like coconut, sweet almond, or olive. Test to see if you’re allergic by applying the diluted oil to a small skin patch. If no reaction occurs in 24 to 48 hours, it should be safe for topical use.

Life Quotes
If you think, you are successful and have not experienced suffering, distress, afflictions and failures. Then pray to God to give you one, for they are the things that molds and shapes our character. I love the way Helen Keller coined it.
"Character cannot be developed in ease and quie. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired and success achieved".

Life Quotes
Truly, the prosperity of a country does not depend on the abundance of its revenues nor on the strength of its fortifications, nor on the beauty of its public buildings, but it consists in the number of its cultivated citizens, in its men of education, enlightenment and character. Nothing can be farther from this truth as observed by Martin Luther.
Our leaders should read and digest this message. Let it guide them and they will not stray from fulfilling the purpose of Nation building instead of individually storing up wealth while the country they govern suffers.

My Secret Recipe Against Inflammations
When we consider the havoc done by inflammations or swellings as I choose to call them to our bodies, you will agree that they are usually either the cause of the disease or they make it worse. It is surprising that many individual are still in the dark regarding inflammatory conditions and their destructive effect on our health.
Considering the damage they do to us. It is necessary to include on a daily basis natural anti inflammatory foods to our diet. When we suffer pains most times inflammations are the hidden cause because they disrupt blood flow and circulation. Healthy individuals have secrets, one of such secret is including anti inflammatory foods daily. Interestingly most natural foods are in this category, It is important to note however that when there is excess of any food or nutrient, the body may respond through inflammations.
6 Habits that Encourages Inflammations:
1. Excess Sugar
We all know too much sugar is bad for us, but worse of all they create inflammations which causes pains. If you want to avoid inflammations and pains like arthritis and rheumatism then go low on sugar especially white sugar and remember that sugar is not all about white sugar. All the carbohydrates we consume must be converted into sugar. If you have the habit of consuming too much carbohydrates especially simple carbohydrates, then you are giving room for inflammations.

Lack of regular exercise especially among the elderly folks could give rise to poor circulations, inflammation and pains as well. The solution to this, is to get moving.

Many of us love fried foods, plains, potatoes and flours. All fried foods including fish and meat are difficult to digest and are agents of inflammations. So the solution here is to discontinue, better to boil or steam those foods.
6. Obesity
